Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has directed the recruitment of 700 more personnel for the Amotekun Corps, the state’s security outfit.
This recruitment aims to strengthen the Amotekun Corps and enhance security across Ogun State.
The Corps Commander, Brigadier General Alade Adedigba (retd.), shared this information in a statement on Saturday, saying, “This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing security measures across the state and ensuring the safety of all residents.”
According to the statement, interested applicants can apply online, free of charge, at ogunstateamotekun.com.ng. Applications are open from October 29 to November 18, 2024.
Adedigba also announced a screening process that will follow the application phase, scheduled from November 25 to December 11, 2024. He urged applicants to prepare and follow all provided guidelines. “This recruitment drive represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to bolster the capacity of the Amotekun Corps, enabling us to better serve and protect the citizens of Ogun State,” he added.
“This is an important initiative, and we invite all eligible individuals to join and contribute to the security of our communities,” Adedigba emphasized.
