American rapper Offset has dismissed reports claiming he rejected a 10 million dollar divorce settlement from his estranged wife, Cardi B, calling the story false and part of a “hate campaign.”
Rumors had spread on social media that Offset turned down the payout, allegedly saying he “built Cardi’s brand and deserved half.” The claim, first posted by gossip page The Uncut X, went viral before the rapper spoke out.
Offset took to Instagram to deny the reports, writing, “False rumors, all of it. Stop running a hate campaign, none of this is true or the first thing that was about this was true.”
The couple’s divorce has been ongoing since July 2024, when Cardi B filed to end their seven-year marriage. She explained in a livestream that the process had been delayed by financial and tax disputes, saying, “Somebody wants me to pay for their taxes.”
Offset has admitted to making “mistakes” in the relationship but has avoided speaking negatively about the rapper since the filing. There are currently no verified court records or credible reports confirming any 10 million dollar settlement.
Meanwhile, Cardi B is expecting her first child with NFL player Stefon Diggs. In a CBS Mornings interview aired on September 17, 2025, she described the pregnancy as “a blessing” and said she felt “strong and powerful.”
This will be Cardi B’s fourth child and Diggs’ first. Diggs later told People magazine he was “excited to start this new chapter” and revealed they are expecting a baby boy.
