Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has described himself as “arguably the hottest artist” in the country, while reaffirming his commitment to service and humility.
Speaking during an episode of the Jusmen 105.7 podcast alongside a guest and members of the Antiworld Gang, the rapper stressed that his music career goes beyond fame and wealth.
He revealed that despite receiving offers worth millions of naira, he chose instead to embark on a six-hour journey to Osun State to engage with schoolchildren.
“Music is more than ‘music.’ I’m arguably the hottest artist in the country right now. But I’m still driving six hours to Ife while turning down offers worth millions of Naira just to serve schoolchildren,” he said.
Odumodublvck explained that his decision to prioritise children over commercial deals stems from a deeper, spiritual motivation.
“The main reason I’m serving the kids is because the closest thing to God is the children. So, if you serve children, you serve whatever purpose that you are after,” he added.
His comments have sparked discussions online, with many praising the artist for his grounded perspective despite his growing fame in the Nigerian music industry.
