A 300 level student of the Oduduwa University, Ile Ife, Osun State has been busted after she staged her own kidnap with her boyfriend.
WuzupNaija gathered that the student, whose name was given simply as Faith, and her boyfriend demanded and got N14m as ransom from her adoptive mom.
However, the bubble burst when the said boyfriend decided to use Faith for money rituals and, therefore, consulted a native doctor.
The native doctor reported the boy to the police who promptly arrested him.
During interrogation, the boyfriend confessed to the fake kidnap. When the adoptive mom heard how she has been tricked, she stormed the school premises to get Faith arrested too.
It was gathered that the lady took the suspect as her child after she lost her mom. Investigation also revealed that she has already given her school fees to the said boyfriend.
