Founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that Labour Party’s Peter Obi will not win the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria.
In a video shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the cleric issued a strong warning about the consequences of an Obi presidency, claiming it would bring hardship to the country.
“Peter Obi is not ready to do second fiddle. And these are the crises the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would be having,” he said.
“Peter Obi cannot win. If Obi becomes the president, Nigeria is in trouble. Obi is a pretender. That is the way I see it in the spirit realm. His presidency would herald hunger. Obi is not the answer or solution to Nigeria; he is a pretender.”
Primate Ayodele also spoke on the emerging coalition around the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which is reportedly being considered by several opposition figures ahead of the 2027 elections. He cautioned President Bola Tinubu to take the group seriously and remain vigilant.
“Don’t think that ADC are playing. They are not playing. Five things Tinubu can use to destroy them, I will only say two. If Tinubu knows a good prayer warrior, send them thunder to destroy them,” he stated.
The cleric further urged the presidency to take proactive steps to destabilize the opposition alliance before it gains momentum.
“I am telling the presidency now, before 2027, if he (President Tinubu) does not put disunity and division among these people, they can surprise him,” he warned.
