Former President of the United States Of America, Barack Obama has once increased his imprints in the sands of time.

Digitally this time, one of Obama’s tweets became the most liked tweets ever. The tweet that earned him this new space in the history books was the message and photo he posted Sunday in response to the weekend’s violent and racially charged protests in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion,” Obama tweeted, partly quoting former South African President, Nelson Mandela’s 1994 biography Long Walk to Freedom.

The first ever black president of the United States posted alongside the words, a photo of him greeting a diverse group of children at a day-care center’s window.

Twitter declared the tweet the most liked on Tuesday after it gathered more than 3million likes to beat Ariana Grande’s tweet after the Manchester terrorist attack which packed 2.7 million likes.
