The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, on Monday came under serious attack by Nigerians on Twitter over his comment that President Muhammadu Buhari should civil in his approach to governance, saying he should realise that he is no longer a military man.
According to The Punch report, the traditional head of Lagos made the statement during the unveiling of SunTrust Bank Limited, the first commercial bank to be licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 15 years.
The comment has drawn negative comments from Nigerians on Twitter. While many say the Oba should keep quiet since he was part of those that supported President Buhari during his campaign period, others say Oba Akinolu is making such comment because he does get money from Buhari.

A commenter, Danladi Rabiu Akano says, “Oba Akiolu is turning to a Wailer. The Oba was, however, defended by some Twitter users for making such comment.
