The National Youth Service Corps has released call-up letters for 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II prospective corps members deployed to Niger and Sokoto states. This is ahead of their delayed orientation exercise.

According to the NYSC, prospective corps members posted to the two states have now been enabled to print their call-up letters. They can do this through their dashboards.

The development follows an earlier adjustment to the orientation timetable for Niger and Sokoto. This adjustment was due to ongoing renovation work at their respective camps.

NYSC fixes August 12 for orientation

The orientation course in both states will now commence on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The cut-off for registration and swearing-in ceremony will take place on Friday, August 14. Meanwhile, the three-week exercise is expected to end on Tuesday, September 1.

NYSC had initially scheduled the Batch ‘B’ Stream II orientation exercise to begin earlier alongside other states. However, it extended the date for Niger and Sokoto to allow renovation work at the camps to be completed.

The scheme advised affected prospective corps members to check their dashboards. They should print their call-up letters and make adequate preparations for the journey to camp.

It also cautioned them against travelling at night. It urged them to prioritise their safety while travelling to their respective orientation camps.
