Nuno’s sack by Tottenham not good, Solskjaer, Tuchel react

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reacted to the sack of his Tottenham Hotspur counterpart, Nuno Espirito Santo.

WuzupNigeria reported that the Portuguese lost his job after four months in charge of Spurs following a run of poor results, including the 3-0 home loss to United on Saturday.

Speaking to the media ahead of United’s Champions League clash with Atalanta, Solskjaer said, “It is never nice to see men, good men, lose their jobs.

“I don’t know the situation at Tottenham so can’t comment too much.

“But as a colleague, you are never happy when that happens.”

Also reacting, Chelsea manager Tuchel told reporters: “I got the news today that one of my colleagues got sacked which is not good news and never nice to hear.

“But you will understand that I will never comment on other clubs’ decisions on coaches and I will not take part in any speculation and give comments on that.”

Meanwhile, former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte, is said to be in line to replace Nuno at Spurs.
