The Chief Executive Officer of OCOWorld  Limited, Mr Celestine Okwudili, says the winner of  ”Nsukka Most Beautiful Girl 2021″ will go home with a brand new Toyota Spider car and one week paid trip to Dubai.

Okwudili who had sponsored and organised the Nsukka Beauty Pageant since 2018,  made the disclosure in Nsukka, on Tuesday, while briefing newsmen.

He said the aim of organising the beauty contest was to promote Nsukka cultural values and showcase beautiful and intelligent Nsukka girls to the world.

“Through this contest, we showcase beautiful and intelligent girls from Enugu North Senatorial District known as ”Nsukka Most Beautiful Girl” to the world.

“This contest also helps to give girls in the district the courage, empowerment, and boldness to compete with their peers globally.

“Every year we look out for a  girl who is not only beautiful and intelligent but also one who will serve as a role model for other girls in  Enugu North Senatorial District,” he said.

According to him,  last year Nsukka beauty queen who would hand over to the new queen on Dec. 28, went home with a new Toyota Matrix car, while the first and second runners-up received N300,000 and N200,000 respectively.

“This year the prize for the queen has been upgraded to a brand new Toyota Spider car and one week paid trip to Dubai while prizes for first and second runners up remain the same.

“OCOWorld starts preparations for the contest every year early so as to avoid any form of a rush as well as ensure a level playing ground for contestants in all activities that will climax to the grande finale on Dec 28,” he said.

The CEO said the theme of the Nsukka 2021 Beauty contest is “Beauty Beyond the Eyes” adding that, the contest as usual was open for all girls who are indigenes or residents of Enugu North district.

“Nsukka, Igboeze-South, Igboeze-North, Igboetiti, Udenu, and Uzowani are the six Local Government Areas that make up Enugu North senatorial  district,

“For a  girl to qualify for this contest, she must be between 16 years and 30 years old, single and without a child.

“Parents should allow their daughters who are interested to contest as the contest is transparent,” he said.

Speaking also, Mr Ezekiel Anyanso, the Event Manager of OCOworld, said that the judges would be fair to all contestants as all the judges that would screen and assess contestants would be men and women of integrity with good track records.

“Our judges for the contest since 2018 this contest started have been men and women of integrity with enviable records,” he said.

He noted that the registration form for the beauty contest is N7,000 and are available at some of the leading stores and supermarkets in Nsukka.

Also speaking, the reigning Queen known as  ”Miss Adada 2020”, Miss Mavis Aruma from Igbo-Etiti LGA urged girls in the district to avail themselves of the opportunity to showcase their beauty and talents as the process is transparent.

“Nsukka Most Beautiful Girl contest organised and sponsored by OCOworld is transparent and devoid of any cheating or manipulation,” she said.
