Nigerian actress Enado Odigie and her partner, filmmaker Tola Odunsi, have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who officially tied the knot in a private ceremony back in February, revealed the pregnancy during their traditional wedding celebration held on Saturday in Benin, Edo State.
In a video shared on social media, Enado was seen cradling her baby bump, radiating joy as she embraced the next phase of their journey together.
“It’s a double celebration. So much to be thankful for. Thank you, Jesus,” she wrote.
The traditional wedding was an intimate yet vibrant affair, attended by close family and notable colleagues from the entertainment industry, including Sharon Ooja, Bisola Aiyeola, Hilda Baci, Osas Ighodaro, and Sola Sobowale.
Enado appeared resplendent in a coordinated Edo traditional outfit, perfectly complementing her husband’s attire.
Tola also expressed his happiness on Instagram, writing, “This is the day the Lord has made. I am rejoicing, I am glad in it.”
Previously married to Onohi Iremiren between 2008 and 2018, Tola has two children from that union.
In a conversation, he disclosed that his relationship with Enado became official after the COVID-19 lockdown, following years of friendship.
Enado first gained recognition in 2014 for her role in Spice, and has since featured in numerous acclaimed films such as Joba, Ehi’s Bitters, Cooked Up Love, Flawsome, and The Men’s Club.
