Nollywood actor, Sisi Quadri dies at 44

Renowned Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, fondly known as Sisi Quadri, has passed away at the age of 44. The news of his demise was shared by some of his colleagues within the Yoruba movie industry on Friday.

Nollywood actress, Abiola Bayo, expressed her grief on her verified Instagram handle, saying, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

The cause of Sisi Quadri’s death remains unknown as of now. The Nollywood fraternity and fans are left in sorrow, grappling with the loss of a talented actor whose contributions to the industry were significant.

Born on December 25, 1979, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, Quadri made a name for himself as a prominent Yoruba movie actor. His acting journey, which began around a decade ago, gained momentum when he earned the moniker “Sisi Quadri” after his notable role in the film “Seranko Seniyan.”
