Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo launches film hub, to train 250 youths

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has unveiled Euphoria360 Hub, a creative production facility in Lagos. He also has plans to train 250 young people in filmmaking and entertainment-related skills.

According to The PUNCH, the facility was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, October 6, in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.

Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat commissioned the centre during a ceremony attended by filmmakers, actors, content creators and other entertainment professionals.

Adebayo described the initiative as an investment in Nigeria’s growing creative industry.

He explained that the facility was designed to provide filmmakers and other content creators with production equipment and technical assistance. Additionally, it will also offer professional working spaces.

Femi Adebayo targets young filmmakers

The centre combines several creative services, including film production, photography, music recording, podcasting, editing and sound engineering.

It also features cinema spaces, conference rooms, dressing rooms and facilities for visual effects and post-production.

Through the Euphoria360 Film Academy, the filmmaker plans to train 250 young Lagos residents in different aspects of entertainment production.

The initiative aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills that could improve their employment and business opportunities.

Adebayo said his long-term vision was to build an environment where emerging and established professionals could collaborate on creative projects.

He also hopes to position the facility among Africa’s leading entertainment production centres.

The launch represents another investment in Nigeria’s creative economy. Filmmakers seek improved production infrastructure and greater opportunities for emerging talent.
