Renowned Nigerian musician Bankole Wellington well known as Banky-W has interfered in the rift between the Davido, Wizkid and Teckno.
We recall that Banky-W was the first to sign Wizkid into his record label.
Elder Banky wrote on his Instagram, borrowed words from one of Jay Z’s songs in his 4:44 album
“‘What’s better than one billionaire? Two’
“What’s better than one of our Artists conquering the world? Two? Three? 10?? All?? Wish we would all just quit the mud slinging and get back to pushing the movement forward.
“When you’re running a race, if you stop to throw stones at every dog that barks, you’ll never reach your destination OR you’ll get there much later than you should. And.. a mud fight may seem like fun, but in the end, everyone just comes out looking like shit.

The shading started when Davido dropped a new song ‘Summer Body’ where he replied Wizkid who called him a ‘local champion’
Davido said, “With our Yankee passport/Dem say we local/You better catch up/I go see you later,”
Wizkid then responded with a tweet saying, “My people make una remember say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice. ??”
Teckno then came on board when he tweeted ‘Na just Time, soon we go know who international pass ??’. And it got messier with Wizkid numerous response on twitter.
