The Nigeria Police Force has said that the policeman accused of shooting corps member, Angela Igwetu is on trial.
Linda Angela Igwetu who was meant to pass out a day after the unfortunate incident was shot and bled to death.
The police revealed on Monday that the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has been briefed about the shooting.
Writing on their official Twitter, the Nigeria Police Force described Angela’s death as unfortunate.
“The death of the youth Corp member is quite unfortunate, the IGP has been briefed by the CP FCT Command.
“The POLICE man is on Trial, no Stone will be left unturned. IGP assures Nigerians.”
Recall that Angela’s sister had shared the sad news of her sister’s death on her Twitter handle last week.

Meanwhile, (The ‘End SARS champion,’ Segun Awosanya, had initially claimed in one of his tweets that Garki Hospital first refused to treat the injured corp member without Police report; but he later corrected himself, saying that sources present at the hospital revealed that a consultant was called in, who attended to Linda immediately.)
