Olamide Adedeji, rapper and boss of YBNL Records, has lost his mother.
The rapper’s mother has died from an undisclosed illness, it was learnt on Tuesday.
According to multiple sources close to the rapper, his mother “had been sick for some time” before her demise.
Although it could not be ascertained yet if she died on Sunday or Monday, a source said “her illness grew worse in recent weeks. She was in a wheelchair before she died”.
The rapper’s late mother is the second wife of his father who is also deceased.
Olamide himself confirmed the news with his post on IG.
“There is no deity like the mother,” he wrote in Yoruba with broken heart emojis to caption an all black post.
