NNPCL donates relief items to Borno flood victims

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has donated relief items to communities affected by recent floods in Borno State.

The donation was made through NNPCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility arm, the NNPC Foundation, during a condolence visit to the Borno State Government on Tuesday.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL, Mele Kyari, was represented by the Executive Vice President of Business Services, Danladi Inuwa.

In his message, Inuwa conveyed the company’s sympathy to the government and people of Borno State, expressing concern over the impact of the disaster.

NNPC disclosed this in a statement released by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye.

“The Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mele Kyari, represented by the Executive Vice President, Business Services, Mr. Danladi Inuwa conveyed the company’s heartfelt message to the government and people of the state over the disaster.”

“Materials provided to the affected communities during the visit include essential supplies such as food, toiletries, beddings, and other household items,” NNPCL said.
