IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has knocked the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), over the resignation of Peru President, Manuel Merino.

Merino resigned as a result of the protests rocking the country.

Reacting to his decision, Kanu slammed Buhari for handling the EndSARS protests in a different manner.

He tweeted: “Peru President Merino resigns following street protests but in Nigeria, following #EndSARS protests, Nigeria president is either persecuting and freezing bank accounts of Nigerian youths or slaughtering them at #Obigbo and Nigerians are seemingly tolerating it. “

The EndSARS protests were a call for an end to police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria.
