NLC, TUC meet FG over petrol price, other issues

The Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress are currently in a meeting with the Federal Government to discuss key national issues, particularly the rising petrol prices and their impact on Nigerians.

The meeting is being held at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, in Abuja.

Senior government officials, including National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Labour Minister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, and Finance Minister Wale Edun, are in attendance.

The meeting focuses on the petrol price hike, which has sparked concerns across the country. Labour leaders are pushing for solutions to ease the economic challenges facing Nigerians due to the rising cost of fuel.

Representatives from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and other key ministries, such as Petroleum and Information, are also part of the discussions.
