The agency advises citizens to take necessary precautions due to weather-related risks, particularly those with respiratory conditions and drivers.
NiMet warns people with respiratory conditions to take extra care due to dust in the atmosphere and advises drivers to avoid traveling during heavy rainfall.
The agency also urges residents to secure loose objects and avoid taking shelter under trees due to strong winds that may precede rainfall.
