The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has criticized Nigerian leaders for not heeding his warnings, which he believes could prevent the country from facing serious troubles.
His comments were made during the launch of his book, *Warning to the Nation*, which marks the 30th edition of his prophecies, at his church in Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos.
Primate Ayodele said, “I warned them to build three towers to end insecurity, but what else do they want? I write letters to some quarters, but they won’t take it. They don’t want to hear the truth, which is bitter. That is why we leave this government to themselves.”
The book includes 5,000 fulfilled prophecies and offers solutions to various problems, including insecurity and hardship. It also contains warnings for Nigerian politicians, such as Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Obi, about the 2027 election.
When asked about the church’s role in addressing national challenges, Primate Ayodele said, “The church’s contribution is to inform the government about impending problems and how to tackle them. Prayers alone are not the solution; they are a waste of time, energy, and resources. Prophets and pastors must direct the government when there is danger coming.”
He also criticized the Christian Association of Nigeria, stating, “CAN seems jobless. They are not fighting for Christianity or supporting it. Instead, they are promoting backwardness.”
On the topic of state policing, Primate Ayodele expressed concern, saying, “State policing will add to insecurity in Nigeria. Politicians will use them as weapons against the people. Even if it comes alive, there will be serious conflict around it.”
Despite facing criticism, he remains steadfast in his mission. “If we have not been getting it right since 1994, we would have stopped. Prophecy is not a literature book; without being led by the spirit, you can’t do the job. Criticism shows I am important. If you’re not important, nobody pays attention.”
Regarding Nigeria’s future, he remarked, “Nigeria’s problems are not spiritual and don’t need prayers and fasting to be solved. Religious leaders have become puppets of the government. Nigeria will eventually break up naturally without bloodshed, starting from the North. Nigerians should not think President Bola Tinubu is Nigeria’s messiah.
The economy will worsen under his watch, and his return in 2027 is uncertain due to ongoing political conspiracies.”
