A clergy from Rivers State, Prophet Abel Boma, has described Nigerian politics as a spiritual battle, stressing that this dimension will determine the outcome of the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking in a video posted on his official YouTube channel, Pastor Boma insisted that the success of President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress depends largely on spiritual support.

He emphasized that as long as key allies like Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, remain alive and connected to Tinubu, the president is destined to win the upcoming election.

“Nigeria’s politics is spiritual. Do you think it is a physical thing?” Prophet Boma asked rhetorically.

He went on to say, “Let me tell you: the men that will stand, if they are alive and they are still connected to Tinubu, he will win. Number one is Wike. The man you hate carries the crown of a kingmaker. Even the former kingmaker cannot overtake this one. God knows him. How can a man be known by God? There must be something he has done. So, God knows him.”

He added that the only way for the opposition to remove the APC in 2027 is to “hold God,” underscoring the spiritual nature of Nigerian politics.
