Isa Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy has lost his daughter, Aisha, on Monday, Nov 23, 2020.

The minister announced the death of the 13-year-old girl in a message posted on his Twitter handle, @DrIsaPantami.

He said the remains of the deceased would be buried in Abuja on Tuesday.

The minister did not disclose the cause of the teenager’s death.

The message read, “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Rajiun! My 13-year-old daughter, Aishah Isa Ali (Amal) passed away just a moment ago.

“Due to some necessities, funeral prayer tomorrow at Annur Masjeed, Wuse 2, immediately after Zuhr prayer in sha Allah. May Allah forgive and be merciful to her.”

Sympathisers have, however, continued to console the minister and pray for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
