Condolence messages are pouring in for the Minister for Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung who lost his wife on Sunday. Dalung made the sad announcement of his wife’s death on Sunday morning. He announced: “My heart is heavy, I cannot continue, I lost my first wife, Mrs Briskila this morning. May her soul and the souls of faithful departed rest in the bosom of the Lord, amen. What a black Sunday.” Nigerians took to social media to condole with the minister. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was among the first to commiserate with the minister. Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Zakari Kazaure, described the death of Mrs. Dalung as a great loss, and prayed God to comfort the bereaved family. President Nigeria Cricket Federation Engr Emeka Onyeama paid a condolence visit to Barrister Solomon Dalung in his house in Gwarimpa, Abuja. Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation Dr Mohammed Sanusi and his assistant Dr Ikpeme also called to condole with the Minister on his wife’s death. Here are some of the comments.
