Nigerians are at this moment, unhappy with the country’s minister of sports and youth development, Barrister Solomon Dalung, over comments he made about Nigeria not expecting the Super Falcons to win their 8th African crown.
The Florence Omagbemi-tutored side defeated host Cameroon over the weekend to defend their African Women Cup Of Nations (AWCON) title win and their entitlements have not been paid ever since with the minister stating that they never expected the players to win the tournament, therefore they did not make preparations for them.
This excuse by the minister seemed to have infuriated Nigerians who took the social media to express their disappointment with Dalung, whom they believe should not remain as a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.
