The Peoples Democratic Party has declared that Nigerians are now politically wiser and will not make the same mistakes in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the PDP state secretariat in Yola on Friday, the Organising Secretary of the party in Adamawa State, Hamza Madagali, said citizens have run out of patience with the current administration. He insisted that the ruling All Progressives Congress has failed to provide leadership and direction for the country.

Madagali described the APC’s handling of national affairs as a disappointment, warning that the ruling party’s time in office was coming to an end.

According to him, the PDP remains united and ready to take over power, as demonstrated in the party’s recently concluded ward congresses in Adamawa.

He also pointed to the composition of the PDP’s National Convention committees as a signal of the party’s readiness and the ruling party’s dwindling influence.

“Nigerians are wiser now; they now know the difference between original and fake. The only way out is to return the PDP back to power,” Madagali said.

He added that the electorate has learned hard lessons from previous choices and will not gamble with the future of their children again.
