A Nigerian woman named Yetunde has been arrested by UK police for assaulting another Nigerian woman.
The altercation, captured on video and shared widely on social media, shows Yetunde accusing the other woman of having an affair with her husband.
In the video, the two women, communicating in Yoruba, exchange insults and hold onto each other’s clothes. Yetunde accuses the woman of ruining her relationship and calls her “Ashawo” (a harlot). “She took my husband, and accused me of ‘Ashawo’,” Yetunde says. “She ruined my relations despite housing her for eight months.”
The confrontation escalates as Yetunde visits the victim’s house to confront her. Friends of the victim, present at the scene, witness the altercation. In the video, Yetunde can be seen dragging the victim’s shirt and accusing her of snatching her husband.
The victim then calls 911, and a Metropolitan police officer arrives. The victim lies on the ground, appearing deeply distressed, while Yetunde is handcuffed and taken away by the police.
The incident has sparked various reactions online. Omalichawa commented, “Me fight over a man?
