Young Nigerian midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, marked his debut for Inter Milan on Sunday in a resounding 4-0 victory against Leece in Serie A.
Akinsanmiro, who transitioned from Remo Stars to Nerrazzuri, entered the game in the 76th minute, with Inter already dominating proceedings.
In his brief 20-minute appearance, the 19-year-old showcased his prowess by winning three duels and engineering one scoring opportunity.
Akinsanmiro’s inclusion in Inter’s lineup aligns him with the legacy of esteemed Nigerian players such as Nwankwo Kanu, Taribo West, Obafemi Martins, Nwankwo Obiora, Joel Obi, and Obinna Nsofor, who have previously donned the Inter jersey.
Inter’s triumph not only solidifies their lead at the top of the league, now nine points ahead of Juventus with 66 points but also marks their remarkable 10th consecutive victory under the stewardship of manager Simeone Inzaghi.
