Pelumi Nubi,a sole traveler who set out to travel by road with a car from London to Lagos on the 30th of January 2024 is presumed to arrive in Lagos on Saturday after a nerve wracking but adventurous trip.
It was reported that she saved her hard earned money to buy a small,purple peugeot 107 for the road trip.
In an interview with MiamiHerald about two weeks ago,she said she is an explorer,adventurer at heart and wanted to see what connected the two places she called home.
She said “ I was very curious about the countries that connected the two countries together.
“There isn’t just much representation of a solo female traveler,so I wanted to achieve that.”
Pelumi who has been documenting her progress on her social media pages,including Facebook,Tiktok and Instagram in order to share beautiful sights from her sojourn and also the challenges she encountered on the way has since passed through nine countries and is headed to to the 10th country as the time of filing this report.
