Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, popularly known as Waje has advised parents to pay attention to the needs of their children.

Waje in a post she shared on her Instagram page, explained she understood that parents love their children dearly, but sometimes it would be good if parents actually put into consideration what these kids need and not what they think the kids want.

She said; “We all claim to love ••• our kids and surely we do but dear parents if these kids can’t recognize what you do as love, you are basically grooming another damaged being into the society.”

“Please don’t misunderstand this, pay attention to what your kids need from you not only what you want for them.”

“May God protect our kids and guide their path”.

Meanwhile, sometime last month Waje revealed some details of her personal life as she hinted at the different ways that parenting changed her life.

The mother of one stated that parenting did not only change her life but also her brand.

Waje said all of these while chatting with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on his programme ‘Rubbin’ Minds’. She explained that at a point she had to reduce her alcohol intake when she came home drunk and was welcomed by her daughter.
