The Guinness Book of Records has officially confirmed and recognized 22-year-old Munachimso Brian Nwana, for visiting 150 different fast-food establishments in 24 hours.
The Nigerian content creator, Munachimso Brian Nwana has broken the Guinness record for most restaurants visited in a day beating the former record of 100 which had been held by the Canadian YouTuber Eric Decker, popularly known as Airrack.
This was shared via a post by GWR on its official X.com page on Wednesday.
As confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Record, Brian traversed his entire mission on foot. He walked more than 25 kilometers (15 miles) from Chicken Republic in Gwarinpa’s residential zone to Kilimanjaro, a fast-food restaurant in the city center.
To be able to break the record, he began and concluded his quest at 5 p.m., with a nine-hour sleep break between midnight and 9 a.m.
Additionally, he had to purchase and eat at least one meal or drink at each restaurant, with a minimum of 75% of the orders being food.
Brian noted that he ate “probably enough to last a week” and made an effort to taste something – even if just a mouthful – from the majority of places he visited. The remaining food was all consumed by his team and members of the public.
Brian said, “This record goes to show that the Nigerian food space is worth paying attention to.
“I would like to encourage people from around the world to come and explore the Nigerian food space.”
