Nigerian man stabbed to death by Afghan refugee roommate in Portugal
A Nigerian man was on Wednesday, December 8, 2020, stabbed to death by his Afghan roommate in Lisbon, Portugal.
Henry Onyekachi, 29, arrived the country some months ago as a refugee and was put in the same room with a 45-year-old Afghan refugee.
On Wednesday, Dec 8, they had a clash over house chores and the fact that the suspect was having a negative influence on the other refugees in the apartment.
The suspect felt slighted by the confrontation and he later reached for a knife and stabbed Henry in the back.
Henry died from excessive loss of blood.
The Afghan has since been arrested.
