Nigerian Juju musician and founder of Afro-Juju style, Oluwashina Akanbi Peters better known as Shina peters, is 62 today May 30.
The Ogun state born married to Sammie Ayoka Peters is blessed with two children; Clinton Peters and Seyi Peters.
Shina Peters also has a third child, Clarence Peters, a popular Nigerian video producer, whom he got with Anambra State-born actress, Clarion Chukwura.

- Sir Shina Peters was born on May 30, 1958, in Ogun State.
- He started his career as a guitarist with General Prince Adekunle, one of the pioneers of Juju music.
- He formed his own band in the 80s after releasing many albums with Segun Adewale.
- His first album as a solo musician, Ace (Afro-Juju Series 1), went double platinum and was the career breakthrough that made him a household name in the Nigerian music industry.
- He also has a kid brother, Yomi Peters, who’s also doing well in the Juju music industry.
