Assistant coach of Solution FC, Olisa Ezeasor, has sold the pair of football boots given to him by Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.
The boots, last worn by Osimhen when he scored a hat-trick against Benin Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, were put up for sale two months after he received them.
Ezeasor had listed the boots for N1m on Saturday, saying he needed the money to support his business. He wrote, “Officially putting this boot up for sale. Price: One million naira only. Size: 44/45. Money needed to support my personal business.”
By Sunday, he announced that the boots had been bought by football administrator Fola Olatunji-David. He did not disclose the purchase price.
He later shared another update saying, “Update: Boot sold. Purchased by Fola Olatunji-David. Price: undisclosed. In order to give back to my mutual community, who have been active under my posts since my small fame in this space, I’ll be doing a giveaway worth N250,000. N10,000 for 25 persons.”
He told followers to comment with proof of post notifications turned on, promising to pick winners from the entries.
Osimhen had given him the boots in September after Ezeasor praised the striker’s impact in Nigeria’s qualifying campaign.
Meanwhile, Solution FC fell 2–0 to Abakaliki FC on Saturday in the Nigeria National League. The loss pushed Ezeasor to complain about what he described as unfair officiating in their recent matches.
