Nigeria wallop Cameroon 4 – 0 in World Cup qualifier

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were indeed super on Friday as they demolished Cameroon 4-0 to consolidate their position at the top of the Group B in the 2018 World Cup African qualifiers.

Chinese club, Changchun Yatai F.C’s Odion Ighalo; Tianjin TEDA F.C’s Mikel Obi; Chelsea FC winger’s Victor Moses, and Kelechi Iheanacho scored a goal each to give Nigeria the maximum three points at the Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo.

Ighalo puts Nigeria ahead after connecting a 28th-minute pass from Mikel.

Mikel increased the lead to 2-0 in the 42nd minute when he scored a corner kick taken by Victor Moses.

Eleven minutes into the second half, Victor Moses worked with Simon to net a third goal from inside the box.

Substitute Kelechi Ihenacho sealed the deal with his 77th-minute header.
