Nigeria records 410 new Covid-19 cases, toll now 49,895
No fewer than 410 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded as the total number of confirmed cases hits 49,895.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday night.
According to the NCDC, Lagos recorded 210 of the 410 cases, followed by FCT with 45, Ondo with 30 and Plateau 21.
The rest are: “Edo-19, Ogun-16, Oyo-13, Nasarawa-12, Bauchi-11, Enugu-10, Kwara-7, Kaduna-6, Anambra-4, Ebonyi-3, Abia-2, Rivers-1”.
NCDC further revealed that 37,051 people have been discharged so far in Nigeria while 981 people have lost their lives to the virus.
