That crossdressers are looked down upon and seen as scums are no longer news, what is news is a crossdresser reacting angrily to being called names. But that was exactly what Nigerian crosser, James Brown, did when he was called gay by a young man: the dancer turned back and slapped the name-caller in the face.
However, someone caught the moment on camera and shared the footage on social media.
In the video, James Brown could be seen waltzing by in a mall, the young man saw him and called him. Angered by the name-calling. James confronted him and slapped him.
Responding to a tag on Instagram, the crossdresser wrote,
“Good morning I just saw this video now and whoever did this video is just jobless. So guys, most people have been tagging me on this video and probably wanna know why did I slap the guy?
Well, I slapped the guy because He literally called me Gay when I was passing at the mall. most of you call me names on social media and I don’t really react to it but I hate it when someone from nowhere sees me and call me Gay (I’m not offended by the words anyway) but don’t use it for me it might lead to Physical combat because I hate when someone call me GAY.. being feminine is not a crime and it doesn’t mean am a (gay) you don’t judge a book by it’s cover so let this be a warning to y’all… If not for my friend who hold me, would have deal with that animal very well because one slap is not enough for people like him #DropsPen”
James Brown is seen as a mentee of Nigeria’s male barbie and Instagram celebrity, Bobrisky.
WuzupNigeria recalls that after Bobrisky botched birthday party, the dancer had penned a lovely birthday message to Bobrisky, calling him his aunty on Saturday.
He had written then,
“Happy birthday to one and only {Auntie mi} long life and prosperity….. We come across so many people in our lives, but the one who leaves an impact is hard to get…. Happy birthday to the one who doesn’t give a f**k to what people say, but focuses on her set goal. Happy birthday to the one who knows what it means to be independent and focused.
“Happy birthday to the one who knows the meaning of fashion …. The very first time I met you, you were so friendly and bold, trust me, you’re one of the few people I always up to. Thank you for being you.“
