It was a walk in the park for the Nigeria’s Super Eagles who ended their qualifying campaign for the Africa Cup of Nations with a resounding 3-0 win over Group L’s whipping boys, Lethoso.
The opener from the Man of the Match and perennial thorn in the flesh, Victor Osimhen in the first half, was followed by a second goal from Oghenekaro Etebo
Lanky striker, Paul Onuachu, was on target again to make it three goals and three points for the host team.

In all, Osimhen recorded two assists and a goal. The win takes Nigeria to 14 points from their six games.
A delighted Gernot Rohr told journalists that he was glad his gamble paid off.
The German tactician fielded Everton’s dangerman, Alex Iwobi, right from the blast of the whistle despite nursing an earlier fear that he may not be fit on time for the match.
However, a late negative COVID-19 test by the player puts his mind at rest.
Iwobi along with Iheanacho and Osimhen tore through Lesotho’s defence at will while the visitors have no answer to the fiery attack.
