NIDCOM congratulates Oyediran on breaking Guiness World Records
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM has congratulated Nigerian born British professional roller skater, Tinuke Oyediran on bagging double Guinness World Records.
Oyediran, popularly called Tinuke Orbit broke two records on the 2020 Guinness World Records Day (GWR Day) held on November 18.
GWR Day is an annual celebration of record-breaking that sees thousands of people getting involved from across the globe.
Orbit broke the record for the most cartwheels (30) on roller skates in one minute as well as the most spins one – skates in one minute(71).
NIDCOM shared its excitement with Orbit’s achievement on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday.
“Congratulations to Nigerian Born British Tinuke Oyediran (aka Tinuke Orbit) for breaking two new records for the Double Guinness World Record Day 2020 The 27-year Professional roller skater broke the record for most cartwheels on roller skates,” NIDCOM tweeted.
