NiDCOM condemns burning of Nigerian man in Libya
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, has condemned the killing of a Nigerian who was set ablaze by three men in Libya
The Nigerian man was doused with petrol and set ablaze by the men who found him in a factory.
Reacting to the incident, Dabiri-Erewa called on the Libyan authorities to apply the full weight of the law on the suspected killers.
The NiDCOM boss described the act as dastardly, beastial and unacceptable.
This is contained in a statement issued by Gabriel Odu, the Media, Public Relations and Protocol Unit officer of NiDCOM,
Meanwhile, a statement by the Libyan Interior Ministry has condemned the act insisting that it is a new wave of violence on migrants in North Africa.
The United Nations has also described the Killing of the Nigerian man as “another senseless crime against migrants in the Country.
