International rap star Nicki Minaj has extended her congratulations to Nigerian music sensation Davido and his wife, Chioma, following their recent white wedding held in Miami.
The congratulatory message came in response to a post by Davido on X (formerly Twitter), where he expressed his joy and deep satisfaction with the wedding celebration.
“We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this. Nothing una git do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding! And one of the best days of not the best day of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!” Davido wrote.
Reacting to the post, Nicki Minaj simply replied, “Congratulations to you both.”
The gesture reflects the mutual admiration and respect shared between the two artists, whose professional relationship has also been highlighted through past collaborations.
Nicki Minaj has previously described Davido as an “incredible writer & melody maker,” noting that she specifically requested his input on one of her tracks to incorporate the Afrobeat sound.
