The Nigerian Exchange Group Plc announces key changes to the board of its subsidiaries, Nigerian Exchange Limited, NGX Regulation Limited, and NGX Real Estate Limited.
Effective September 27, 2023, Ahonsi Unuigbe has been appointed as the new Board Chairman of NGX, succeeding Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN), who has retired. Several other board members, including Erelu Angela Adebayo, Kamarudeen Oladosu, Yomi Adeyemi, and Seyi Osunkeye, have also retired.
The shareholders of NGX have approved the appointment of Jude Chiemeka as Executive Director, along with five Non-Executive Directors: Lilian Olubi, Azubuike Okpalaoka, Hamza Sule Wuro Bokki, Sehinde Adenagbe, and Foluke Oyeleye.
NGX RegCo has welcomed Salamatu Suleiman as its new Board Chairman, effective September 30, 2023, succeeding Catherine Echeozo, who has retired. Olufemi Akinsanya has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director, and Amina Mohammed as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
NGX RelCo has appointed Ngozichukwuka Edozien as its new Board Chairman, effective October 7, 2023, succeeding Erelu Angela Adebayo, who has retired.
Fiona Ahimie has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director, along with two Independent Non-Executive Directors, Victor Alonge and Abdullahi Suleiman.
