A South-African writer identified as Martin Plaut has taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to claim that the newly-appointed WTO DG, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is the rudest woman he ever met.

Martin Plaut made the comment shortly after she was confirmed as the new DG of the organization.

Meanwhile, The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has congratulated Ngozi Okonja-Iweala on her appointment as the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation.Okonja-Iweala was officially announced as the new DG of the international organisation on Monday, becoming the first-ever female to hold the position.

IN a statement by the president via his Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Monday, Buhari hailed the former finance minister for bringing joy and honour to Nigeria.
