The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, cancelled the Lagos peace walk planned for this month.

WuzupNigeria had reported that Sanwo-Olu, in an address on November 30, invited some EndSARS frontline protesters in the state to a peace walk for ‘the healing of Lagos.’

The governor had specifically invited Folarin Falana (Falz), Debo Adebayo (Mr. Marcaroni), Dele Farotimi, Temitope Majekodunmi, Segun Awosanya (Segalink), Adedotun (Just Detoun), Seun Kuti and others to join him in the ‘historic march for our dear Lagos.’

However, Falz, Mr Macaroni, Seun Kuti, amongst some arrowheads of the protest had declined the invitation, saying there must be justice for the EndSARS victims before peace.
