The Delta State police command crack squad has arrested two suspected drug dealers identified as Musa Abdullahi, 25, and Gift Ahemte, 53, at their hideout in Agbor metropolis in the State.
Confirming their arrest to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe, said the police while acting on an intelligence report, stormed the suspects' hideout and arrested them. He said items recovered from them include 8kg of Indian hemp, volume 5 and swinol drugs.
In a related development, men of the state crack squad raided a suspected criminal hideout along Jakpa Road, Warri and in the process arrested two suspects namely, Felix Aroh, 43 and Erumu Ogodo, 20.
The following exhibits were recovered from them; Three containers load of eight wraps of Kolorado hard drugs, four packets of rolling paper, one hundred and forty-three (143) wraps of substance suspected to be Indian hemp and some sachets of tramadol.
In the same vein, the crack surveillance team on January 7 raided a criminal hideout in Issele-Asagba where one Blessing Nwabuokei, 32 was arrested and 12kg of weed suspected to be Indian hemp and some quantity of cocaine were recovered from her.
Edafe said the suspects are currently being interrogated and would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
