Pictorial: Slain Owo Catholics get mass burial
Over 40 worshippers killed by terrorists at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, got a mass burial on Friday.
The worshippers were killed when the gunmen bombed and opened fire on the congregants on June 5, 2022.
The mass funeral, which started around 9am at Otapete Emure Road, Ondo, had in attendance many bishops from the South-West zone.
Security operatives including military personnel, men of the Nigeria Police Force, and Amotekun operatives manned the venue of the grief-soaked funeral.
Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and other top political officials were also in attendance.
