
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has signed into law the State Value Added Tax Bill as passed by the state's House of Assembly.
This latest development was contained in a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, on Friday.
Omotoso said the Governor signed the 'bill for a law to impose and charge VAT on certain goods and services' about 11:45am on Friday, after returning from an official trip to Abuja.
This act has made the Bill become a Law.
