FIDA salutes girl-child for strength to surmount obstacles
The Nigeria chapter of International Federation of Women Lawyers has commended the strength of the girl-child to still survive despite the obstacles and daunting challenges the society has stacked up against them.
The female legal body made the commendation in commemoration of the 2021 Day of the Girl Child.
In a statement issued by Country Vice President/National President FIDA Nigeria, Rhoda Prevail Tyoden and co-signed by National Publicity Secretary, Eliana Martins, FIDA called for digital literacy for the girl-child as essential skill in modern world to avert additional barriers to workforce participation.
