Eko Disco: Mushin, Oshodi, Ladipo market, others to experience six days power outage

The Eko Electricity Distribution Company has announced that there would be planned power outages in some communities and areas in Lagos State from March 7 to 13.

The affected areas are Agege Motor Road, Anipele, Iyala, Fatai Atere, Small scale, Obagun Road, FIIRO, Ladipo Market, Oduduwa, Obagun, Palm Avenue, Buhari Rd, CAC str, Oshodi Express, Army Cantonment, NAFDAC, Adedokun and environment.

This was tweeted via EKEDC Twitter handle on Monday afternoon.

Eko Electricity had stated in the statement that customers should be notified of the planned outage.

The tweet read, “PLANNED OUTAGE !!!! Dear Esteemed Customer, This is to notify you of a planned outage that will take place between 7th to 13th March, 2022.

“The essence of the outage is to carry out qualitative maintenance, upgrade and rehabilitation on Nitel Injection Substation for efficient, stable and reliable supply.”

The proposed outage is coming at a period when Lagos consumers are struggling with epileptic supply of power and fuel scarcity, which has plagued for the past weeks.
