Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to the leader of the embattled Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has claimed that the Department of State Services has blocked his client from seeking support from the United Kingdom.
Vanguard reports that Ejimakor made the disclosure on Monday as Kanu despite Kanu’s dual citizenship status with Nigeria and the UK.
WuzupNigeria reported that Kanu, who is currently being held by the Department of State Services after appearing before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja is facing trial for a treasonable felony.
